Mother Daughter Duo

Erin has been gardening for longer than Katharine has been alive, so years of experience and enthusiasm is key as we build this operation together. With sights set on using the land to put some more beauty and knowledge into the world.

Hands on

It all begins with an a seed. This is our first year of operation, so as we’ve come to understand and been warned, there’s so much infrastructure work to do. We have seedling currently thriving under Erin’s watchful care and ready to take root as soon as our beds are ready.

The Land

Near the shadow of the blue mountain ridge, close to the Appalachian trail, we find ourselves taking a chance on the land to bring something beautiful to the greater Berks County. We’re taking an acre or so of our property and using the no til method to grow several varieties of flowers.

To analyze the charms of flowers is like dissecting music; it is one of those things which it is far better to enjoy, than to attempt to fully understand.
